Joshua Samuels is a contemporary streetwear brand that centers itself around accessible sustainability. At the core of the brand is the belief that everyone should be able to afford a sustainable wardrobe.

As we learn more about fashion, we have found it increasingly important to consider, and re-consider the reasons we want to be a part of this industry. Fashion is the second-largest polluter in the world. Fashion production takes up 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions, dries up water sources, and pollutes rivers and streams. What’s more, 350,000 tonnes of wearable clothing ends up in landfill in the UK every year.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the current system does not work.

Upcycling is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality, such as artistic, aesthetic, or environmental value.

All items we design, make, and sell are 100% upcycled.

We pride ourselves on our minimalist approach to upcycled-design and in-house manufacturing, where we are fully focused on reducing the processes involved in reworking old clothes. This allows us to offer high quality products at an affordable price point without compromising on our sustainable and ethical ethos.
