Matthew (wears his jumper backwards like a spanner) is 6'3" and wears size L/XL
Shamelessly inspired by Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, these are made from vintage knits destined for landfill. Resourcefully pattern cut, these knits are deconstructed into squares and reconstructed into jumpers. Maximising use of material, minimising waste.

About Product
About Product
Multi-Patchwork Knits are upcycled by Joshua Samuels in his London-based studio. The jumpers are crafted from vintage knitted jumpers handpicked from unsold charity shop stock which was otherwise destined to join the 350,000 tonnes of wearable clothing that the UK sends to landfill every year.
Pulling reference from Thayat's TuTa, these knits are made solely from squares. The TuTa was resourcefully pattern cut, allowing minimum waste, and was cut from one piece of cloth in rectangles. The Multi Patchwork Knit joins the TuTa in featuring a square cut that blends aesthetics with functionality, wavering between Déco taste and Bauhaus proposals, between craftsmanship and industrial production.
Offcuts from the knits used to make these jumpers have been further upcycled in the Triple Flower Tees and more has been saved for future projects.
